Hi Everyone--
This is a great way to share information about diabetes care issues.
What do people think about the MDs trying to attain the CDE credential?
My thought for those trying to achieve greater knowledge is to check out CADRE, the Council for the Advancement of Diabetes Research and Education. They have information and case studies available at their website (www.cadre-diabetes.org) and they are free for you to review. I have found them to be practical examples for discussion.

Thanks. Sounds like a great resource. MDs becoming CDEs sounds like an idea worth pursuing.
Is there any value to a physician in adding on CDE credentials? The patients and insurance think that we have that knowledge already...
